Historic Preservation

Through more than 47 years of practice we have provided investigation and design services for more than 75 historically significant buildings in the State of Texas.  We are highly skilled in preservation planning, historic building restorative technology, adaptive reuse, and renewal strategies while respecting the historic fabric of the building.  We have fostered excellent relationships with historic preservation board and committees in many cities, the State of Texas Historic Preservation Office, and other entities having oversight for these buildings.

A sampling of significant buildings we have provided investigation, restoration, and design for include:

  • Austin State Hospital Main Administration Buildings – 1853
  • Alsatian House in Castroville, Texas – 1854
  • Old Lundberg Bakery in Austin – 1875
  • Sunset Station in San Antonio – 1904
  • 100 Block of South Main in Boerne, Texas – 1920
  • Big Spring, Texas Municipal Auditorium – 1930
  • Lubbock Municipal Coliseum – 1951

A complete list of historic preservation projects will be provided upon request.
